APPLICATION
The SamFlow system enables the sampling of
bulk materials (powder or granulates) from
pneumatic conveying lines up to 3.5 bar
conveying pressure. This can be airborne or
dense phase conveying. After sampling, the
sample is collected in a 2 litre sample bottle
The device is typically used for pneumatic
unloading of silo trucks or for internal pneumatic
transfers. It is characterised by its uncomplicated
installation and reliable mode of operation. The
sample quantity can be freely determined by the
number of intervals. With appropriate control a
time-, volume- or event-proportional sampling
can be realized.
OPERATION
By briefly opening the squeeze valve repeatedly,
the product is discharged out of the line and into
the sample bottle by the overpressure prevailing
in the delivery line. The excess air can escape
through a filter cartridge.
For proper function, it is important to measure the
intervals so that the product discharged into the
bottle has sufficient time to settle and excess air
can escape through the filter cartridge.
MOUNTING AND INSTALLATION
For mounting the sampler, a DN25 (optionally
TC) spigot is welded into the delivery line. The
sampler is attached to it by means of screws or a
triclamp.
