The cell features specific guidelines to ensure accurate and reliable testing:
- Sample Size: Requires 20g to 240g of material with a particle size generally under 3/4inches.
- Testing Guidelines: When pouring samples into the cell, the grain should fill the cell evenly below the level of the orange cap.
- Temperature Equilibrium: You should leave the sample in the cell for approximately 30 seconds to allow the grain and cell temperatures to reach equilibrium.
- Calibration Verification: Operators use a dedicated Code 0 calibration sample to ensure the unit and cell are delivering accurate readings over time.
